Summer Nights...

This is what summer is all about! What a great night last night at Emigrant Lake! Thank you for the great turnout, everyone! Thank you to the Haugen's and Richard Rogers for bringing your boats for tubing and wake-boarding! The weather was perfect! On the way home, someone said, "Nights like these are the ones we will remember 30 years from now."

Soon the Lord will come and we will be with Him in a place so amazing it will be like an endless summer. That's a crude comparison to the amazing-ness of Heaven, but it gives us a little idea of how good it could be. There's nothing better than being in a perfect place, in perfect weather, with perfect friends.

Next week is the Oregon Conference Camp Meeting in Gladstone, Oregon, so we will not have a youth group meeting. But the week after is one of the best youth group events of the year: Redding Water Park!!! We will meet at Rogue Valley Adventist Academy at 8 am and return approximately 8 pm. Please bring $15 for entry fee and any money you want for food. Sack lunches can be brought but they have to be eaten outside of the park. Don't forget sunscreen! Can't wait to see you then!
