Catching Smiles
We are slowly but surely seeing improvements around us. Hey, we can serve food again at youth group - that's good, right?! We had pasta last night and prime steaks and mashed potatoes last week. The weather is getting nice and we were able to scout around outside for an egg hunt. Congratulations to Isabell Zamora for discovering the grand prize egg!
I love this picture (attached to this blog) because it best captures the fact that we can still have fun even with the struggles of pandemic life. Masks on, but smiles can be seen even through the barriers! I want to say thank you to all the youth for being such good sports throughout this time of restrictions and hardship!
Jesus was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief (Isaiah 53:3) but He still showed warmth, caring and concern for all. May God bless our Medford Youth as they continue to allow Jesus Christ to live in and shine through their lives! Soon, the occasional smile will turn to full joy when Jesus returns to make all things new!
We aren't having youth group April 14 because that whole week we will be enjoying Lee Venden's seminar "The Revelation of Whom?" Hopefully all youth group members will come each evening and enjoy these presentations that will touch the hearts of any and all ages! The meetings start tonight, April 9, at 6:30 pm and happen every evening at 6:30 pm through April 16. Check out the Medford SDA Church website or Facebook page for more info.
