9/5 Recap and Bible Camp Updates

Last night we treated our taste-buds to some crunchy nachos with tons of toppings, then topped it off with banana pudding. Afterwards we endured a sloppy game of jello racing. Red jello seems to be a little faster than green. :)

We studied John 13 and saw that Jesus expects those who call Him Teacher and Lord to serve others equally like He did. In Verse 17, Jesus gives a promise to all who listen to these teachings. He said, "Blessed are you who do them." Are we going to live this life with the priority of "Me/Myself/I" or "He/She more than Me"? Philippians 2:3, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves." Thank you everyone for coming and making memories!!!

Bible Camp is coming fast! I've posted the important documents on the front of the website now so they're easy to find. Open up both pdf files and print them. They contain 2 permission slips that need to be given to me when you load the bus. We are loading the bus at 9 am, Thursday, September 20 from the campus of Rogue Valley Adventist Academy. Again, I need to know who is committed to going with us by Friday, 9/7! Please pass the word!
